PLANNING YOUR SESSION
At least 24 hours prior to your arrival we need a list or diagram of the instruments and number of musicians that will be included in your session.  A floor plan of Studio A can be found at the Studio Layout link on the main menu.  Your outline can be discussed over the phone, or e-mailed to us at info@kaleidoscopesound.com

If you have specific mic requests for specific instruments or vocals, please let us know so we can have the room set in advance of your session.  As a policy, we set up mics, and line check them prior to your arrival.  We find this helps your session move along smoother, and makes more efficient use of your time and money.  If you do not have specific requests we will set the room according to our experience and best judgment.

It is possible to arrange for catering or food delivery for your session.  We can arrange catering for large groups (10 or more musicians with 3 days advance planning).  We can also take care of simple delivery orders from our book of menus the day of your session.  You will be billed for the food directly by the restaurants at the time of delivery.

We can arrange for instrument rentals including vintage keyboards, orchestral percussion, or anything else we may not have on site.

Be sure to confirm that you will or will not require a piano tuner for you session (an extra $75 per tuning).

We ask that there is no smoking anywhere inside our studios or our lounge.  If you would like to smoke please do so outside (and use the receptacles provided).  You are welcome to bring any food/beverages or other amenities you would like to help you feel more comfortable and at home in our studio.  If you have further questions or there is any way we can make your session easier, more productive, or more enjoyable, please ask.

Please take a minute to familiarize yourself with our Studio Policies so there are no misunderstandings, and if you have any further questions, please feel free to contact Carey (our Studio Manager). We love music, and hate arguments.

Sincerely,
The entire Kaleidoscope Staff
